Like mother, like daughter: Jennifer Lopez and her adorable six-year-old daughter Emme got dressed up in similar pale pink peplum outfits as they headed to the New York Hilton hotel on Thursday, where they attended the League of United Latin American Citizens' (LULAC) 85th National Convention with First Lady Michelle Obama



Dressed to impress: The pair were also joined by JLo's younger sister, Lynda, a journalist, who looked lovely in her fitted white knee-length frock, having clearly not got the pink memo, with all three rocking a classic look for the important day, during which the singer and actress was a keynote speaker

An honour and a privilege: The star got quite emotional as she addressed the members of LULAC - the largest and oldest Hispanic civil rights organisation in the US - during the 85th Annual National Convention and Exposition, which discussed pressing issues facing the Latino community across the States

'Me and my girl @flotus': The 44-year-old cosied up to First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama during the Unity Luncheon, their heads touching as they gazed into the camera with genuine wide grins on their faces
