A Filipino girl who stunned her family by allegedly waking during her own funeral has been pronounced dead again, according to The Huffington Post UK.
The three-year-old's story went viral Monday after a video from her Sunday funeral in Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, was posted online. The clip, which now has over five million views, is said to show the toddler being pulled from her coffin alive after a family member noticed her head moving.
Authorities say the child, who was brought to a local hospital with a severe fever, was originally pronounced dead on Saturday. Once the toddler reportedly sprung back to life on Sunday, she was given immediate medical attention and then taken home, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
Although the child's vitals did show she had a pulse at the funeral, the toddler slipped into a coma once again upon arriving home and passed away shortly thereafter. The family is now planning a second funeral for the young girl.
