A couple thought they were trapped inside a janitor’s closet at Daytona State College for two days until police let them out — then arrested them.John Arwood, 31, and Amber Campbell, 25, face trespassing charges, according to Volusia County Corrections Department’s online inmate locator. Campbell is also accused of violating her parole.

The pair told police they were chased into a closet in the college’s Marine and Environmental Science Center on Sunday, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

After two days in the closet, Arwood called 911 from cellphone, police said.

When officers arrived, they found human feces and copper scouring pads sometimes used to smoke crack, the outlet reported.

They also learned that the closet was unlocked the entire time because the door was unable to lock at all.

Officers said they did not find drugs in the closet.
