ESPN Anchor Stuart Scott Has Died After A Long Battle With Cancer

Stuart Scott accepts the Jimmy V Perseverance Award

ESPN anchor Stuart Scott inspired millions of people over his two-decade long battle with cancer. Sadly, he died on Sunday morning at the age of 49.

Scott, who was one of the network's most loved anchors, received the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance in July at the 2014 ESPY Awards, and he made it clear that he will not lose to cancer. He explained:
"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."

With those words in mind, Scott absolutely beat cancer by living a very full life!
